The Manicotti I ordered was flavorful and good and my wife enjoyed her Ravioli. The serving sizes of these two dishes were just right and along with small garden salads we were not overly stuffed. Service was prompt and friendly. Luigi's was busy but we were seated right away.

It isn’t the best I’ve had but it’s close. Very authentic just like others are saying. The food is very rich, the cheese and meats taste incredible, the bread is pretty good. They definitely make it in house. I loved my grandma’s lasagna. My boyfriend enjoyed his Alfredo but we prefer it how we’ve had it other places and it came in a relatively small portion. The chicken in his Alfredo was okay. But I definitely think this place is worth visiting especially if you’re bringing those from out of town you want to impress.

My favorite restaurant ever! The servers are so kind, the food is amazing every time, and it’s such a cozy atmosphere. Everything comes out very fast and I have never had a dish I didn’t like. The rolls and desserts are also amazing! Going to Luigi’s is always a wonderful experience and I can’t credit them enough.

Howdy Folks, it's been a while. We'll, Luigi's is a little Italian place in Cullman, AL. It has a old country atmosphere. But, the food was top notch. The bread was light and fluffy. We really enjoyed the Fried Cheese Ravioli appetizer. Enjoy.

My wife and daughters and I found this place one day on an adventure. We arrived for lunch. It was a quant little hole in the wall with wonderful food. I will be honest it doesn't look like much when you pull into the parking lot. But once you go inside it has a little restaurant atmosphere. They had Frank Sinatra playing in the background. As soon as you are seated you have hot, baked rolls brought to your table. I ordered the baked ziti. My wife ordered the Calleoni. My daughters ordered cheese ravioli, chicken Parmesan , and chicken Alfredo. The food was good and piping hot. We enjoyed our experience.

This is the best food I’ve tasted in quite a while! I am quite familiar with the building, as I’ve had many breakfasts and a few catfish dinners here over the years. I’ve always thought the building could use some upgrades and still believe it certainly needs a remodel rather than the facelift it gets with each new tenant. I do believe the current decorators have an upper hand with the options of covering the walls with gorgeous and vibrant Italian tapestries and other small detailed interior designs. It gives the place a fresh look and most likely saved some money, and allowed room in the budget for more important things. We will get to that part soon. I’d much rather have authentic Italian food served in a room with walls adorned with tapestries than some angel hair and Ragu or penne and Prego served in a room with expensive Italian murals and cheap wine. So now, on to the food. Wait, let’s talk service.... I’m not sure of the situation, as I was with a large party and was unable to visit with any of the staff, but the servers must be family or close to the owners somehow. You will not experience service from a teenager who’s distracted by a cell phone and unhappy to be there, or anything even close. The staff were invested in customer service and very happy to be attentive to guests needs and seemed very happy to be there. These were seasoned veterans who knew the business and would put others to shame. The prices were very fair, and if any other review says different please consider the price of things these days and the fact that this food is QUALITY. So now I can move on to the best part.... The food is phenomenal. It’s the best Italian I’ve had in a very very long time and certainly the best I’ve had locally. There aren’t enough words to explain every dish I tried during my first visit. You just have to go taste it for yourself. I had the Eggplant Parmigiani and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. Most of the time I never eat my leftover pasta and sauce but I took mine home and ate every bite. Honestly the sauce had a flavor Ive never had and that’s probably because I haven’t had much, if ever any, authentic Italian food. It was so good. I had the Tiramisu (as an appetizer) because it’s my absolute favorite dessert and I was so excited to have some as it’s pretty hard to come by around here with options being limited to a couple of local bakery departments in the grocery store chains. Let me tell you, this tiramisu was legit. Oh mylanta it is next level. It picked me up and took me a notch higher. The layers of ladyfingers soaked in espresso and that creamy mascarpone cheese all married together with the cocoa powder dusting that hits just right on your tastebuds will change you. It’s one of those desserts you think about many times after it’s gone. It was a large portion, as was the food. It’s rich and flavorful and enough for a few meals for me, but I do eat smaller portions. I never eat until I’m full, it’s just a rule I have. My email signature has always said “stay hungry, stay happy” but I ate this food until I was full as a tick and was pretty darn happy about it. We paired the leftovers with a Josh Merlot and they complimented each other very well. I had a great experience and I truly wish these folks well, they’re doing a great thing here and I hope it catches on and takes off. This is a tricky town and they chose what’s been deemed as a “poisioned property” refer to my blog for more details, link below. but if anyone can change the world and better a community using the power of food, it’s certainly these folks!!! Five stars hands down. I’ll go back again and again and I’ll spread the word, this place is wonderful. What a wonderful experience. My wife had just returned from Italy, but since I didn’t go I was able to talk her into trying this little non-descriptive place on one of the roads we were traveling on the way to somewhere else. Maybe 15 tables so it’s small, but our waiter was quick to tell us the good dishes and then as soon as we ordered everything start coming out I mean fast and it was busy some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had - the vodka sauce is to die for - The mussels; highly recommend, and the spaghetti and meatballs were out of of this world. Also, there was so much food. The rolls were definitely homemade. The only drawback is it’s small and there’s no alcohol so you can’t enjoy a glass of their wine, but you can bring your own. One of the highlights was - it’s small - so private feeling. Great restaurant. Don’t miss this one!
